Will IOS 27 finally make Siri useful?

Probably not in the way people hope — and not anytime soon.

If Apple keeps its usual yearly iOS cadence, iOS 27 would be expected around 2027, not a decade away. But anything about iOS 27 is still speculative, so there’s no reliable way to say today whether it will “finally” make Siri useful.

What we can say more safely is:

• Apple has already been trying to improve Siri with Apple Intelligence and broader AI features starting with iOS 18.
• Those upgrades are not the same as a complete Siri reboot, and the experience still depends heavily on device, language, region, and feature rollout.
