Will Amazon use drones for normal deliveries?

Amazon does use drones for some deliveries, but not for normal everyday delivery at broad nationwide scale. Its Prime Air service is still limited to select locations, eligible customers, and small packages, so it should be thought of as a niche delivery option rather than a replacement for standard vans.

In general, Amazon’s drone deliveries are constrained by local approvals, weather, operational limits, and service-area availability. Amazon has continued developing newer delivery drones, but widespread rollout still depends on regulatory and operational clearance.
