• Access: experienced agents may have better supplier relationships, perks, or problem-solving channels.
• Accountability: people want someone who can own the plan and adjust it when things go wrong.

Bottom line: AI will pressure weak agents and automate routine work, but it’s more likely to reshape travel agencies than erase them.
