Why did Pizza Hut used to feel better?

A lot of people feel that old Pizza Hut “used to be better” for a few overlapping reasons:

• It was an experience, not just takeout. Older Pizza Huts were often dine-in restaurants with booths, dim lighting, a salad bar, arcade games, and a sit-down family feel. That made the meal feel special.
