Your iPhone usually disconnects from Bluetooth because of a weak accessory battery, interference, a bad pairing, or a software glitch.
Try these fixes in order:
- Charge the accessory — low battery often causes random drops.
- Move closer — walls, metal, Wi‑Fi routers, and other devices can interfere.
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on — then restart both your iPhone and the accessory.
- Forget and re-pair — go to Settings > Bluetooth > i, tap Forget This Device, then pair again.
- Update iOS and accessory firmware — bugs are often fixed in updates.
- Reset Network Settings — go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This won’t erase photos or apps, but it will clear saved Wi‑Fi passwords and Bluetooth pairings.
If it disconnects from every Bluetooth device, the issue is more likely on the iPhone side.
