Should I sell old Pokémon cards on eBay or hold them longer?

Sell now if your cards are common, ungraded, or played. Those usually won’t rise enough to justify the time, fees, shipping, and risk of holding.

Hold longer if you have vintage, rare, professionally graded, or sealed cards in excellent condition. Those are the ones most likely to gain meaningful value over time.

Best move: check eBay Sold Items for recent sales, not asking prices, then subtract fees and shipping. If the net profit is already good, sell. If it’s a standout card with strong collector demand, holding can make sense.
