For most homes, the Eufy L60 Hybrid is the better pick. It uses LiDAR navigation, which usually means faster mapping and more precise room coverage, and it’s also typically quieter than the Roomba Combo i5. It also includes a HEPA filter, which is a plus if you care about trapping fine dust and allergens.

The Roomba Combo i5 is still a good choice if you want iRobot’s rubber brush system and you have a lot of carpet, since those brushes can be effective at pulling debris out of carpet fibers. Its mopping is a simple hybrid setup rather than a full mop system, so it’s best for light maintenance rather than scrubbing stuck-on grime.

A few caveats: exact noise levels, navigation performance, and app features can vary by firmware, home layout, and cleaning conditions. Like most robot vac-mops in this class, both models are mainly for light mopping and are not designed to handle sticky or dried-on stains well.

Bottom line: if you want the more modern, easier-to-live-with robot, buy the Eufy L60 Hybrid. If you care more about Roomba’s brush design and brand ecosystem, the Combo i5 is still a defensible choice.
