Is the Nissan Cube worth buying used for city driving?

The Nissan Cube can be a good used car for city driving, but I wouldn’t call it automatically highly worth buying unless the specific example is in excellent condition and priced right.

Why it works well in the city:

• It’s compact and easy to maneuver and park.
• The tall cabin and upright seating position give good visibility.
• The interior is practical for its footprint.

Main cautions:

• Used Cubes are now fairly old, so condition matters a lot more than the nameplate.
• The automatic transmission is the main risk area, so a well-documented service history is important.
• Parts and cosmetic trim may be harder to find than for more common compact cars.

Best advice: if you want a quirky, easy-to-park city car, a Cube can make sense. I’d prefer a manual if you can find one, or an automatic only if it has clear maintenance records, no signs of transmission issues, and a price that reflects the risk.
