If you are paying for Amazon Prime solely for its kids’ video library, it’s probably not worth keeping. Prime Video does have some strong kids’ and preschool titles, but its overall children’s catalog is usually not as deep or as easy to browse as services built around family viewing.

One big downside is the interface: it often mixes included titles with rentals, purchases, and add-on channels, which can make it annoying for parents to navigate.

If you already keep Amazon Prime for shipping, deals, or other benefits, then the kids’ content is a nice bonus. But if your main goal is a standalone kids streaming service, Disney+ and Netflix are generally better fits for family viewing, while PBS Kids is a strong free option for educational content.

Content libraries change often, so the best choice depends on which shows your kids actually watch and whether those titles are currently included in your region.
