Does Siri use ChatGPT in IOS 27?

iOS 27 has not been released yet, so it is not possible to say for sure whether Siri will use ChatGPT in that version.

What we do know today is that Apple introduced ChatGPT integration with Siri in iOS 18.2. In supported versions, Siri can ask for your permission before sending a request to ChatGPT, and the feature uses GPT-4o. OpenAI says it does not store user requests from this integration.

So the best answer is: Siri does use ChatGPT in some current iPhone software, but whether that will still be true in iOS 27 depends on Apple’s future release and settings. Check Apple’s official release notes or Apple Intelligence/Siri documentation when iOS 27 is available.
