Does god exist?

There is no conclusive, universally accepted proof that God does or does not exist. The most honest answer is: it remains a matter of faith, philosophy, personal experience, and how one weighs evidence.

Believers may answer “yes” through revelation, scripture, or experience. Atheists may answer “no” based on lack of empirical evidence. Agnostics say the question is unresolved or possibly unknowable.
