Possibly in some theoretical models, yes — but there is no evidence that another version of you exists.

A few ideas in physics allow for the possibility:

  1. Infinite space / repeating configurations: If space were truly infinite, then regions far beyond what we can observe could, in principle, contain repeated arrangements of matter. In some versions of this argument, that would make an identical copy of you possible somewhere unimaginably far away. This is highly speculative, and we do not know whether space is actually infinite.

  2. Many-Worlds interpretation: In one interpretation of quantum mechanics, different outcomes of events may occur in separate branches of reality. In that picture, there could be alternate versions of you making different choices. This interpretation is debated and has not been directly confirmed.

  3. Eternal inflation / bubble universes: Some cosmological models suggest our universe could be one of many “bubble” universes. If so, other bubbles might have similar or even identical conditions, which could imply another Earth or person. This is also unconfirmed.

So the most accurate short answer is: it’s a real idea in some theories, but it remains speculative and unproven.
