Here's
What Our Customers Say About The Model 5000
We have had one of the MAARS
5000 units for at least 3 years now and love it. We
initially had some issues with a bad processor but the guys
out of Knoxville bent over backwards to get things fixed. We
have 16 simultaneous channels of which I have 12 set-up for
vibration and 4 for for temperature. The variety of channel
configurations is pretty extensive and if a set-up requires
a different module for the channel, they are very reasonably
priced. Update and support is less than 10% of what I pay
for all of my XXXXX stuff and they make some good updates,
listening to what their customers tell them. I don't work
for these guys in any way but really like their product. It
does what we need. DRAKE
I
have had great success with the MAARS Model 5000, as well.
This is the primary instrument I use for my diagnostic
testing and data acquisition jobs. It is well packaged and
PC based. The instrument and software is designed with
rotating machinery diagnostics in mind (unlike some
instruments more suited to lab testing). The optional MAARS
transient capture feature is especially useful and technical
support from MAARS has been great.
